For Cee’s flower challenge today, I had to share some pictures of the tulip fields that we visited.
After living in Washington State for a few years now, this spring season was my first chance to see the tulips in Skagit Valley, about an hour and a half drive north of Seattle.
Even though a lot of like minded people were taking in the colors of the tulips on a surprisingly sunny mid-April day, I was just happy to see the crowds from a safe and masked distance (having vowed to myself that I will never complaint about crowds again!).
Even though the red and purple tulips were vying for my attention, my favorite were the rows with many different colored tulips and other flowers mixed in!

beautiful!

Thank you! It was actually very crowded and I had to be creative with my pictures to make it look like we were the only ones in the tulip fields 😉
